Canadian Innovation: Ginger Ale
Challenge: To design the classic bottle for ginger ale and make it easier for an individual who may require mobility assistance to open and drink out of the bottle alone.
Solution: Top-off suction bottle: to design a bottle with a built in straw that is straight, protruding and connected to the top. The end of the straw allows the user to bite off the tip to open the bottle. Inside the straw there is a one way valve that only allows the ginger ale to flow outwards. The other end of the straw in the bottle is angled so that is facing the edge of the bottle, allowing the user to drink the most ginger ale.
