Canadian Innovation: Collerette Ladder for Firefighting
Challenge: Adjusting the ladder to make it easier for those who are visually impaired to use.
Solution: On the sides where there is a new step, will be engraved in braille number on the step out of another number. (For example step 5 of 12). This indicates to the user how low or high they are on the ladder and even where the next step is located.
